Thread Count

Thread count is a measure of the number of threads per inch of fabric. Higher thread count fabrics are woven with smaller yarns, so they are generally lighter and softer than lower thread count fabrics which are woven with larger, stronger yarns.

A thread count of 220 is the minimum necessary to render a fabric as being "down proof", meaning that comforter's filling will note seep out of the comforter.

The trick with thread count is to find the ideal balance between the comforter's softness yielded by higher thread count fabrics and the durability and longevity provided by the larger yarns in the lower thread count fabrics.

All of our comforters and featherbeds are feather proof, and the higher thread counts in some of our products will give you a softer feel but will cost a little more than those with a lower thread count.

You can be assured that regardless of the comforter you chose, your comfort and satisfaction are 100% Guaranteed
